This unique J2 replica is a hand made conversion from an existing P-series Allard. This is the second conversion of this type created by the owner. The body is mainly fiberglass, the mold having been taken from J.2059 about 15 years ago. The bonnet and doors are hand crafted aluminum
Power comes from a 4.4 liter alloy Oldsmobile 4.4 engine with 4 barrel Holley carburetor and a Muncie 4-speed gearbox. The performance is spectacular. It is fitted with period style disc brakes. Rear end construction is an adaptation of a Rover De-Dion with a Salisbury differential. Front suspension is the original Bellamy and the chassis is a shortened P1. This car is very close to an original J2 in all respects.
The car is located in New Zealand and is offered at US$80,000. Interested parties should contact the owner by email.
